Wow...here I am...

I enjoy being a dad. I don't think I am a good one but I love every minute of it. The diapers, the crying, the wrestling, the jokes, playing horsie, the confusion, the noise, and ya'll know the rest. I can't front, pop dukes was never really there for me. I always wanted to be a pops. Here I am, 4 deep in this gangsta ish. Cause being a dad is gangsta.

I do have to say this. I never thought I would be feeding my babies breakfast sipping on tea and coffee (Ethiopian Harrar, what!), reading the paper, and explaining to them the laws of the universe wearing slippers and a robe. I never saw myself in that manner. I have to really laugh at that. Then again, I never thought I would be married with babies and still b-boying. But here I am.

I knew I would teach my babies how to throw the hands, but not headbutts, leg sweeps, eye pokes, and takedowns. Or teaching them how to walk on their hands (i am a king at that) But here I am.

And a brother is happy....
