Ward COnnerly strikes again:
(from the Sacremento Bee)
In the July 5 story, Connerly said he`s tired of Mexican Americans and Mexican immigrants characterizing themselves as underprivileged minorities.
"They want to claim minority status when, in fact, they will soon be a majority in California," Connerly said.
"They want to hide behind the term `Latino` and `people of color,` but most of them check the `white` box (on the census form) anyway."
ouch....!

about IMs:
first up, you are not really "talking" to the other person. i will agree that it is a form of communication, but you are not necessarily speaking to them. this makes speaking with emotion rather difficult. So how can you tell someone is mad at you? it's not like a phone conversation or a face to face one. YOu can definitely tell when someone is mad then. YOu can't tell if they are ignoring you either since they may be busy or away from the comp even in the middle of a conversation.
Some people say they use Capital letters when they want to emphasize something. SOme people flat out use cuss words. but if they don't do these things, how can someone know if someone is wildin' out? good question. you can't figure out tone through IM, but you can "tell" by sarcasm..
word of advice: don't have serious conversations via IMs. just pass info and kudos and ish like that...
word up.

big up to my man Keidi Obi Awadu.. he does it again. please check out his radio show at Libradio.com .. or go to live365.com and search for Libradio.
okay, here we go:
Despite an endless stream of highly coordinated and sophisticated propaganda, Keidi proposes that the actual facts state:
AIDS is not even a disease - it is a description of as few as 29 to as many as 100 different diseases;
Haiti, claimed as the first country to be devastated by AIDS in the late 1980s, has officially reported, as of December 2001, a mere 8901 cases of HIV or AIDS;
There is no test for HIV and the test for antibodies has never been shown to prove anyone is infected with "the AIDS virus":
The epidemiology of HIV infection, as has been reported, has never fit the profile of true infectious diseases;
In Africa, where the antibody tests are considered worthless, diseases such as malaria, pneumonia, flu, diahrrea, tuberculosis, yeast infection, parasitic disease, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease and over 60 other common disorders are all called AIDS (SIDA) under the 1986 Bangui Definition of AIDS;
Highly credible scientists, including 5 Nobel Prize winners, have long protested that which has been passed off as "HIV science";
Africa is not being wiped out by killer STDs any more than was Haiti; Africa has the highest average annual population growth rate on the planet;
The higher the rate of latex condom usage, the greater the incidence of positivity on the so-called HIV antibody tests (latex allergy antibodies trigger the positive reaction);
And much much more including your telephone calls, questions and comments.
can anyone refute that?
